Matt arrived in Paris today.  After meeting up with him at the hotel, we started our tour of the city.  First stop on the list was Versailles.  However, the line was absurdly long so we decided to come back for the full experience on Tuesday.

After getting back to Central London, we made a stop at Notre Dame.

From there, we headed across the river via Pont Neuf and made our way up to Sacre Coeur (a basilica on a hilltop in northern Paris).  We got some excellent views and pictures from the church’s dome.

We finished the day off with a visit to Arc du Triomphe and a walk down Champs Elysees toward the Louvre obelisk.
