Scotland Part 2: Edinburgh

Today was very busy.  We started bright and early with a walk down the Royal Mile and a visit to the National Museum of Scotland.

After that, we visited Edinburgh Castle and enjoyed the sights from the top.

Since no visit to Scotland would be complete without a taste of their #1 export, we did the Scottish Whiskey Experience tour and enjoyed a tasting of some fine Scotch.

After that, we visited the Queen’s Palace in Scotland and the Scottish Parliament.  We ended the day with a scenic overlook of Edinburgh…

…and a pint in a Scottish pub, because my sister commented that we should be enjoying the local nightlife more.
